Take the legendary Stan Lee, one of the biggest names in comic book history.

Throw in a story about the Fantastic Four, the Watcher, the Silver Surfer and the mighty Galactus... a story that has a decidedly twisted ending...

Add the penciling prowess of Dale Eaglesham (I'd flatter him more, but it may appear unseemly), who grew up reading Lee/Kirby comics and has an unwavering respect for them.

The bonus? The show-stopping colors of one of the best colorists in the biz, Laura Martin, not to mention the
editorial savvy of our old friend, editor Justin Gabrie.

And what have you got? A project that the whole team will cherish for ever. We hope you will too.

Hope you've already reserved your copies at your local comic book shop?! :)

The FF the way only Dale can make them. FANTASTIC. I can definetly see the respect that Dale has for thoses caracters and the respect that he has for the Lee/Kirby era. I love the watcher that makes up the border of the panel....Very powerful...The pose that the Sylver Surfer has on that page IS a Kirby pose...GREAT JOB DALE....

There's a funny story about that border... Dale thought it would look cool to have the Watchers watching (and it really does, too!). It was quick enough to do in a thumbnail, but when it came time to draw the border on a full-size double-page spread... 22"x17"... You should have heard the grumbling, LOL! He started to really regret the whole idea. I told him, "Why don't you just 'stat' the figures?" and he just wouldn't, because they're all unique characters, so you can't just copy and paste them. It took him FOREVER to draw them all.

Gotta love that kind of dedication!

A little extra trivia: This story is Dale's last finished-pencil s story for the foreseeable future. Starting with Incredible Hulks #623, he's using an inker again!

I just read the issue yesterday and it was awesome! Stan Lee, Dale Eaglesham equals a great pair! I wasnt a fan of Marvel aside from Captain America and Daredevil. But I have to admit I buy everything you do even at Marvel and its giving me a whole new appreciation for these caracters. Keep on the awesome work !
